Functional Movement Screening
Performance Fitness is proud to utilize the Functional Movement Screening system for all our clients.
The FMS is a process designed for athletes, but applicable to everyone. Taking into account the holistic and interrelated nature of movement, muscles, and motor units, this procedure is the safest and most sophisticated way for anyone to begin a fitness program.
Using 7 basic movements, our trainers can learn more about the way you move, and the inherent weaknesses or immobilities in that movement, in 20 minutes than they could in 3 weeks of watching you exercise. This screening system, in combination with your goals and history, provide our trainers with the absolute best platform on which to build the perfect program specifically for you.
