Mobility Exercises

We recently did a class for Catalina Foothill School District that covered some basic movements that you can do on a daily basis to help improve your mobility and function. As part of that class, we posted examples of each of the exercises online, so that the attendees could access the information to refresh their memories later. I figured I might as well share that information with EVERYONE out there that cares to take a look.

Here is the link:

Check it out and let us know what you think.

Spend 30 seconds to a minute performing each one of these mobility based exercises once a day. Start easy and gradually increase the range of motion you work through over that time period. Work to get a little bit better every rep, every exercise, every day.

The New Biggest Losers

At Performance Fitness, we have always been big fans of the NBC television show, “The Biggest Loser”.  The transformations that some of the contestants on that show go through, the lessons they learn, and the weight they lose can provide inspiration to all of us.  This season they are doing something slightly different, and it provides the viewer with a lot of real life insight into the dynamics of the fitness and health club industry.
